i can only apologise for subjecting your eyes to this travesty, not only is it crap it actually looks like crapit was sposed to be the sasquatch version but it went wrong, went wrong again, a couple more times and i ended up with this
this is the inside of the felt, so much going wrong here i cant be bothered to point it all out, i ended up flipping it over and starting again

i made it, so it goes on the blog but in reality hes goin in the bin

Yeti Plushie

slightly reworked my yeti tee design i used purple for the back just coz i couldn't think of anytime i'd need purple felt and figured i'd get rid of it
i didn't really wanna use yellow thread but it's all i could find

i ran outta thread before the end, guess i didn't take into account the extra ins and outs i'd added to the pattern around the arms, but it still doesn't look too bad. fairly pleased with this one but i think i can do something better with it.

Banana Bread Muffin Insect/Butterflies

so yeah, like i said in the post below i was a bit bored with normal banana breadbutterflies, dragonflies,ladybirds/bugs and a bee
i had loads of peanut butter icing so these are all covered in it aswell

oh, and i topped em with pecans (found em in the cupboard :P )

i messed the icing up but i was just about able to save it, who knew there were so many types of sugar ;)

but now the icing is sweet enough to put a diabetic in a coma from 20 meters

they're still nice though

Bumpo Plushie

ok this is possibly a bit weird and i've basically made a voodoo doll of myself but i'm really pleased with this onei think i've worked out what i kept doing on the first stitch :)
because of the size this is actually one of the most complicated stencils i've ever cut out

just to be clear, i don't think im Jesus, it's sposed to look like he's gunna hug ya...

think i need to add an eye, couldn't decide wether to paint one or try to sew a button on , probly needs a mouth too

the idea was to do something valentines themed for my store but slanted towards something you might get a fella, i might not be excited about valentines day but im happy to exploit it if i can.it just came out rubbish, too small probably

Pocket Elephant Plushie 2

found some more felt and needed summink else to do so i had another go i had real problems with this one, messed up the start then messed up the first four or five stitches and had to start again, just couldnt get it rightsame size and design as the other one but i cut it out a bit differently

this is my first attempt at a plushie i used yellow felt for the front and stenciled the design on with fabric paint
red felt for the back, i know my choice of colours is odd but i use what i have :P
the stencilling coulda been better but im pretty chuffed with this :D
i used the stuffing from an old cushion
i messed up the start (but didn't notice till the end) and kinda messed up the end, i think i need to pull the thread tighter sometimes and maybe coulda left some more space around the design but i still think this is pretty good.

this is basically a prototype for what im gunna do next, its basically the same as the other ones but ive added two LED's and a battery
plus the back of his head slides out so you can turn him off
its a rubicon can, yes its a horrible design but i work with what im given :P

Crappy Can Thing

before i even started i knew this one was gunna be rubbish, the can was a horrible design anyway so i decided to scuff him up to look a bit junkyhe's revited together so the arms and head are all poseablei was close to just crushing him half way through
but theres some artist in Cardiff that wants weird home made toys for a gallery installation they're doing and they were interested in the clunky green one so i figured i'd just send em this shit aswell

i made allowances for the riveting but it still caused problems and the scuffing probly didn't make it look any better and i couldn't get the arms to stick at all but there ya go, failure but lessons learned.

undeterred by yesterdays failed experiment with soldering i borrowed a rivet guni played around with the arm design a bit but more importantly the arms are now poseable coz theyre riveted on
at this point things stopped going so well. i decided to change the head design slightly but i forgot to put sides on it...
so i guess i'll do that tomorrow :P
